Welcome to my Blog!

My name is Leslie L. Morgan. I am a Librarian at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. The focus of my work is reference & instructional services and subject liaison for First Year Students and Education.

On Friday, July 6, 2007, I taught a group of First Year Students from the Balfour-Hesburgh Program. They were an incredible group of students who actively participated in my instruction sessions. I know that their parents & guardians are absolutely proud of them, as their self-pride was evident throughout my entire class sessions.

This afternoon, I taught the first group of Masters in Educational Administration students here at ND. What an AWESOME, LIVELY, & ENGAGING group of students! We reviewed the electronic and some of the print sources currently available within University Libraries for them. All together, I had 40 students divided into two groups. Humor is great part of my instructional skill and it proved very valuable today.

If any of my students reads this message, don't forget to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have, and contact Smartboard via their web-site for information about a grant to get it for their classrooms. http://www.smarttech.com.

This blog will focus on information sources relating to First Year Studies as well as Education related materials, information, and news.
